Robert M. Locke, RMP, MPM
Robert graduated from Michigan State University in 1969 with a degree in Business and Marketing. Robert got his real estate license in 1973 and has practiced real estate sales, investing and property management ever since. He and his wife Betty have bought over 200 houses for their own account and have located over 1,000 houses for their investor clients. Robert expanded his investing career by learning to buy foreclosures, doing wrap mortgages, Land Trusts, 1031 Exchanges, buying subject to existing financing and other creative investing strategies.
Robert started managing rentals for other investors in 1980 out of his basement as Crown Management Corporation and over 7,000 tenants have rented from Crown since then. Crown currently manages over 800 single family rental homes in the Atlanta area. Crown’s clients include private investors, Real Estate Investment Trusts, banks, government agencies, builders, lenders and many other brokers.
Robert is past president and board member of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers. He received the Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation in 1998, his Master Property Manager (MPM) designation in 1999, and Crown received the Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC) designation in 2000.
Robert is a frequent speaker at local, national and international real estate conventions. He has been hired by attorneys needing expert witness in magistrates, state and federal courts on real estate disputes and is a trainer in the real estate investing community. Robert is a certified instructor for the National Association of Residential Property Managers and a member of the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association. Crown Investor Institute is an accredited school with the Georgia Real Estate Commission and their courses focus on issues of leasing, property management and real estate investing including Profit Centers of Real Estate, Tax Strategies, Asset Protection, Title Holding Strategies, Land Trusts, Lease Purchasing, Wrap Around Mortgages and many other real estate investor subjects. Crown had acquired 12 other management companies in the past 10 years and Robert brokers the sale of management companies between others.

Tegra N. Watkins, Esq.
Tegra N. Watkins is founder of Watkins Legal LLC and is licensed to practice in Georgia and Illinois. Tegra began her legal career in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP. During her time there, she focused on commercial real estate matters and small business law, including, but not limited to, the representation of various lending institutions and corporate entities in leasing transactions, single-asset mortgage loans and multi-state/multi-property financing deals. Tegra also advised corporate organizations in connection with the acquisition and disposition of real property throughout the United States, including, but not limited to, drafting and negotiating letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, conveyance instruments and assignment agreements.
Tegra earned her law degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2005. While in law school, Tegra served as a Member, then as Senior Articles Editor on the Howard Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, Tegra received a Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Management.
In addition to her extensive experience representing individuals, investors, entrepreneurs and businesses in real estate and small business law matters, Tegra has valuable experience as a corporate marketing professional. This unique background has enabled her to understand the needs of her clients, and to effectively communicate to business professionals since she is acutely aware of the demands that shareholders and employees place on business executives.
Tegra is a member of the American Bar Association, Small Firm Section and Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section; the Atlanta Bar Association, Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers and Real Estate Section; the State Bars of Georgia and Illinois; the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys; and the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association. In addition, Tegra donates her time as a volunteer judge for the Fulton County Juvenile Teen Court Program.

Ron Gainsburg
Since 1994, National Tenant Network-Atlanta has been providing resident screening solutions to individual landlords, property managers, apartment communities and Housing Authorities throughout the metro area. NTN reports are available instantly from our online website, ntnonline.com, or through our local office.
Ron Gainsburg is the franchisee for NTN-Atlanta and has been involved in all facets of the operation since its founding. He has developed a series of training programs and is especially proud of "Tips and Techniques of Resident Screening", the first tenant screening class approved by the GREC for real estate agent continuing education. Cheryl Nydam serves as the Operations Manager for NTN-Atlanta. She is responsible for day to day office management but most enjoys working with NTN clients to help them develop and improve their resident screening programs and policies.
Ian Robbins
Ian is a long time GaREIA member and successful landlord. Ian leads the Landlording Education Network Group at GaREIA, which meets on the 4th Thursday of every month at GaREIA Headquarters, where he teaches landlording, and Ian also brings in other speakers to teach about landlording, landlord tenant law, and other subjects of interest to real estate investors looking to buy and hold real estate.
