PAM SCHERTZ, CPA has her own accounting practice since 2003. Pam provides primarily Controller, Bookkeeping, and Tax services for small to mid-size business. The Controller services include processing all daily accounting transaction of a business, processing payroll including tax filing, preparing budgets and financial statements for management and debt compliance if necessary, setting up inventory systems and controls, implementing and converting accounting software, preparing sales tax returns, business property renditions, and tax preparation just to name a few. If the company has accounting staff, we can review the work of the staff and provided staff training and supervision when requested by the client. Most of the firm’s clients are private but the firm also provides assistance for public companies in the preparation of audit work-papers and draft financials for outside auditors. Other audit work includes insurance audits, sales and use tax audits, payroll tax audits. Pam received her BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston and is licensed as a CPA in the State of Texas. She has worked in various industries such as architecture/engineering services, construction, independent power, casket manufacturing, and high-end women’s clothing. Pam is involved in various organizations in the community. They include serving as Director Consultant of Business Network International-Houston West Region, Visitor Host committee member of BNI Midtown Chapter, and volunteer on Tours Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
JOANNE M. ERICKSEN, ESQ is an experienced attorney, practicing business law since 2002. She is a near-native Houstonian, arriving in Houston from Wisconsin, when she was 8 months old. Joanne attended St. Pius X High School, and then received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio in 2002. She has practiced in Houston her entire career. Tired of the law firm model of focusing on billable hours rather than the clients’ best interests, she founded The Ericksen Law Firm in 2010. Joanne works hard to bring prompt resolution to cases so that her clients can get back to business. Joanne’s practice focuses primarily on business law and business litigation, including employment law issues, collections, and trademarks. She is active in the community, including the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, the Lawyers for Literacy Committee of the Houston Bar Association, and has served as Chair of the Litigation Section, Commercial & Consumer Law Section, and currently the Law Practice Management Section of the Houston Bar Association.

Kelly's agency is a bilingual agency speaking both English and Spanish. She has more than 11 years experience as a Farmers agency owner. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree and has 2 insurance license and 2 financial license. The two insurance licenses are property and casualty and a health and life. The two financial licenses are series 6 and series 63. She is also involved in her community by volunteering with MOMS USA, a non-profit that raises funds to send care packages and Girl Scout cookies to our military men and women serving overseas.
