Hi, I'm Neil and I am the 17th President of the Santa Clarita Valley Jaycees and am the Chief Executive that leads the chapter.
By day I am a Senior Analyst at Princess Cruises here in Santa Clarita. I look after the UK market, pricing cruises and managing our commercial performance. I moved here in January of 2012 from the UK for this position and didn't know anyone. By my third day my friend at work Debbie (who is a foundingmember Jaycees) introduced me to her friends. I found everyone so nice and welcoming that I signed up and got involved immediately. I used to be a city councillor in the UK and I've been a Scout Leader and on the board of charities so I couldn't wait to get involved.
Of course you don't have to have my background to get involved. We're a big group with a wide variety of people from the ages of 21 - 40, with different experiences and interests. The Vice President of Membership is responsible for tracking and maintaining a current list of members, renewals and prospects. Tiffany also plans monthly socials for the chapter. She works at 25 Score Card as well as running a Wedding and Event Planning company in Santa Clarita. She joined the Jaycee's 1 year ago to meet more people in the community and volunteer. Tiffany's favorite event is Taste of the Town. She loves to see the whole community come together for this awesome event.

The VP of Community co-ordinates all volunteer opportunities and activities for the Jaycees as well as help organize our own events like Santa’s Helpers, our yearly toy drive. Caren is a Clinical Data Specialist for Boston Scientific supporting numerous clinical trials around the world. She joined the Jaycees looking to connect with local professionals active in the community. Caren’s favorite project is “40 under 40” where young professionals are recognized for their occupational and community leadership.

Chris works for ‘Datamyne’ a company which specializes in Trade Data Solutions used for analyzing Global & Specific markets. He currently is the Business Development Manager for the Western Region. Chris first met his wife Caren Kahan at a Jaycee Membership meeting in 2011. He joined the Jaycees looking to meet active people, network and give back to his community at the same time.

Hi, my name is Cody and I'm the Financial Manager for the Santa Clarita Chapter of the Jaycees. I am also a Paramedic with American Medical Response in Santa Clarita. I have lived in SCV almost my whole life and love the city. My wife and I also help run a summer camp for the Santa Clarita Family YMCA. I was brought in to the Jaycees by my wife after seeing all the great events they put on. They were such a great group and I really wanted to be involved.

I have worked in soup kitchens, Avon Breast Cancer Walk, Ovarian Cancer, D.A.R.E, and domestic violence. I recently joined the Jaycees and I am the Community Manager helping to organize community events and coordinating volunteer opportunities.

The Manager-at-large suppports the Board of Directors on an ad hoc basis and serves in an advisory role. Debbie is an itinerary planner at Princess Cruises designing ports and itineraries for their fleet of 17 ships. She joined the Jaycees looking to meet active people in the community and help those in need. Debbie's favorite project is Wine Stroll where we travel throughout the wine country trying new vineyards.
