WELCOME TO THE MEMBER DATABASE!

Welcome to the MEMBER DATABASE, the central location to online resources for members of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. This site is currently used for members to create, revise, and update their information; pay membership dues; and search for other members. Plans exist to expand features of the Portal in the upcoming months, so be on the look out for new features.

Getting Started

HOW DO I LOGIN?

If your contact information existed in the previous member database, your information was automatically transferred to this new database and a temporary username and password was created for you. If you were not in our database, you will need to add it to the database. Follow the instructions below to retrieve/create your login information.

  1. Click Member Area from the menu above. 
  2. At the bottom of the Member Login screen, click the Click Here link to indicate you have forgotten your username and password.
  3. Follow the instructions on the Login Reset screen and your username and password will be sent to you. 
  4. If this does not work, then either we have a different email address for you or you were not in our previous database. To add your information, click Register Now.
  5. From here you will be able to provide your contact information to be added to the database. Your request will be pending until approved by a member of the national office. You may change your username and password once you have entered the portal.

Please note: Your username and password from the previous website/members only section will not allow you to access this new portal You will need to retrieve/create a new username and password.

 

HOW do i view/update my contact information?

  1. Login to the database.
  2. Choose My Info from the menu bar.
  3. Review and update your information as necessary.
  4. IMPORTANT! When logging in for the first time, choose "Yes" when you see I affirm that my contact information is correct. This is required in order to receive a new membership card. 
  5. Under Actions, click Save. 

 

HOW DO I CHANGE MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD?

  1. Login to the database.
  2. Choose My Info from the menu bar.
  3. Click View >> My Membership.
  4. Click Actions >> Edit Username/Password.
  5. Enter your new username and password.
  6. Click Update
     

 

WHAT IS A MEMBER PROFILE? HOW DO I CREATE ONE?

What you see under My Info can only be seen by database administrators and you. Your Member Profile is what is seen when other members search for you. You own your profile, so you get to decide what information you want others to see. By default members get to see your name, email address, phone, and your photo. To view/edit your profile:

  1.  View >> My Profile. 
  2. To edit the fields show, click Edit Profile.
  3. Check the items or fields you want displayed to other members.
  4. Click Save. You will taken back to My Profile.
  5. If you would like to add a picture to your profile, click Edit Profile Photo.
  6. Select a photo to upload and click Submit Photo (size limit: 300KB).

 

HOW DO I SEARCH FOR OTHER SISTERS?

  1. Login to the database.
  2. Choose Member Links from the menu bar.
  3. Click Profiles.
  4. Enter a sister’s first name, last name, state, or email address in the Search for box.
  5. Check what fields you want to search in.
  6. Choose your search preference.
  7. Click Search.
  8. Select the name of the desired sister from the list available to view her profile.

 

HOW DO I pay my national dues?

  1. Login to the database.
  2. Choose My Info from the menu bar.
  3. Choose View >> My Membership.
  4. Choose Actions >> Edit Membership PlanThe database already knows your membership level and display the dues amount.
  5. On the Membership Plan Screen, check Renew.
  6. Click the Add to Order button. Your membership dues will be placed in the shopping cart.
  7. Click the Place Order and you will be taken to PayPal to process your payment.
  8. After your dues have been processed, PayPal will be show you a link to go back to Swing Phi Swing. Clicking this will take you back to the member database.
  9. You will see a payment confirmation in the shopping cart and a receipt will be emailed to you. Your receipts are always available to view via the database.

 

how do i find info about the symposium? how do i register for it? 

  1. Login to the database.
  2. Choose Member Links >> Calendar from the menu bar.
  3. Choose Swing Phi Swing from the Chapter drop-down menu.
  4. Using the navigation tools at the top of the calendar to go to April 2013.
  5. Click the symposium event link shown on April 19th. Here you will see all information pertaining to the symposium such as the itinerary, hotel information, etc.
  6. Click Member Registration to proceed with event registration.
