Important Milestones
Originally the Texas Recreation Association, our society has changed 3 times! On April 14, 1950 we began as the Texas Recreation Society, on January 17, 1956 we were chartered as the Texas Recreation Society, Inc. and then on November 16, 1967 we re-incorporated to what stands today as the Texas Recreation & Park Society, Inc.
