Certified Playground Safety Inspector Certification Course

National Playground Safety Inspector Certification Course and Exam Sponsored by the National Recreation and Park Association's (NRPA), the Playground Safety Inspector Certification Course provides the most comprehensive and widely recognized training available on playground hazard identification and risk management.

Advanced reading and 10 hours of classroom instruction by nationally recognized playground safety experts will prepare you to sit for the Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) Exam. The course includes classroom instruction, resource materials developed especially for the course, CEUs (optional), required off-site visit on hazard identification and safety audit, and exam.

Delegates who successfully pass the NPSI course exam will be certified for three (3) years. Renewal of certification may be achieved through a re-examination process.

Other Requirements are as follows:

  • Registration is limited to 60 (minimum of 40); absolutely no walk-ins allowed.

  • Books and resource materials will not be sent if full payment is not received by registration deadline.

  • Advanced reading prior to attending the school is strongly recommended.
