Casey will give you an introduction into the world of real estate syndication and why it is such a powerful force in today’s real estate environment. You will learn what syndication is, what the benefits and drawbacks are, what kind of skills it takes to syndicate a deal, the different team members and tools you’ll need, and an overall overview of the entire process. If you’re looking for a way to launch your real estate business to the next level this new year then this is a must see event.
About the Speaker:
Casey started his path in real estate syndication in early 2006 at the age of 21. At that time he was attending college and working part time for one of Seattle's most active real estate entrepreneurs, Jeremy Gustavel. Through working with Jeremy, Casey was exposed to real estate brokerage, finance, property management, and construction management. He became extremely fascinated with every aspect of real estate and quickly learned everything he could. Before long he dropped out of college, and started working full time as a real estate agent, construction project manager, and property manager for Jeremy. Casey helped amass Jeremy's portfolio by assisting him acquire, renovate, and manage several small apartment buildings located within Seattle in that first year. The two also collaborated and created their own unique business plan known as the plus one apartment strategy. Later In 2007, Jeremy and Casey began real estate syndication and within co-founded Plus One Properties, LLC. In the summer of 2007 Jeremy and Casey syndicated their first project together, a 5 unit apartment building in Seattle’s University District. The project was a great success which catapulted them into more and more deals. Today Plus One Properties, LLC has amassed a apartment building portfolio of 5 buildings in prime time Seattle locations with a present value of over $10,000,000.
