About Speaker:
Ward Murphy has been a member of the Seattle financial and real estate community for nearly 20 years. He founded WM Real Estate Auctions LLC in August of 2009 in partnership with one of the most experienced real estate auctioneers in the country. Mr. Murphy plans to facilitate numerous private real estate auctions in 2010, including auctions of individually-owned, single-family homes, auctions of multiple bank-owned properties, and auctions for specialty assets owned by hard money lenders and others entities.
From 2002 to 2009 Mr. Murphy was Principal and Director of Investor Relations for Investors Capital Group LLC, a private Seattle-based multifamily syndicator. During this time Mr. Murphy’s primary responsibility was raising over $50 million in private equity from individual investors for the acquisition of over 5,000 apartment units purchased in syndicated LLC structures in which Mr. Murphy participated as a Principal.
