This Month's Topic: Can Nashville's Real Estate Market Get Any Hotter

Are we headed for boom or bust? Nashville’s real estate market has been heating up for a number of years now. During this time, we grew from a sleepy, Southern town to one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities. We’re a top vacation destination, bachelorette parties have officially taken over, we have our own TV show and our real estate market is on FIRE! But how long can our hot market last?

We've selected a panel of local pros to help us understand if our market will continue rocketing up, or if it's soon explode and bust.

David Binkley

David is a fourth generation professional in the real estate and development scene. He's a 14-year Realtor veteran, starting his career and buying his first house at the age of 20. David leads the Urban Housefitters team of Village Real Estate, closing more than 120 transactions a year. Since 2003, David has sold more than 250 new homes and 400 plus lots, in addition to his traditional real estate practice.

Marshall Sparkman

Marshall spent six years as a military officer in the US Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer managing a fleet of 18 aircraft, seven organizations, and 423 personnel. Marshall’s military career was highly decorated with multiple deployments and achievements. Upon joining the mortgage industry in 2008 as a result of a REIN meeting, Marshall quickly became a respected leader in real estate in Middle Tennessee, setting the standards in professionalism and integrity. From his military career, Marshall implements a systematic, process-driven approach to his mortgage business to ensure straightforward, honest communication to deliver a smooth, on-time closing. His team has closed over 1,000 transactions and is looking to take over Middle Tennessee
